My Truest Passion
While attending Iowa State, the time when we are all trying to find our way in this thing called life, I started up a clothing brand called VYB with a couple of my friends. Little did I know that this unsuccessful clothing venture would be the catalyst for me finding my true passion. I first picked up a camera with the intention of just being the photographer for the VYB photoshoots, but my interest was piqued and I haven't put the camera down since. I have increased my amount of equipment and expertise since then. Though we had a blast running VYB we all realized that clothing wasn't what we wanted to do. I quickly realized that photography/videography was mine. In fact I loved photography so much I started my own creative studio. The studio is a place where all ideas are welcome. It is a safe space for people to come in and express their creativity in any form. Creativity is an expression, an art, and it is a part of someone. It isn't something that should be made fun of or taken lightly, and that is what my studio is about. Accepting all creatives. Over time, my hobby morphed into a possible way for me to make a living. I have done:

10+ broadcast projects as a camera operator

Funny you should ask. Though I love photography and videography, I have done other work.
Marketing Intern
o Created new parks and recreation print ad campaign
o Drafted and sent out press releases
o Went around the city of Ames and took pictures of the parks to assist in designing a potential new website layout
Backstage Hospitality at Great Jones County Fair
o Assisted performers and ensured their stay was as pleasant as possible
Co-Owner/ PR Director for VYB Company
o Coordinated all schedules for shoots, model schedules, locations, and equipment to be utilized
o Operated all social media platforms (designing and scheduling posts)
